Tarl Smith has over 15 years of coaching experience. Those of you familiar with Tarl will know that producing a safe & energetic training environment, allowing the players to discover, create and have fun are paramount to his teaching. Your children will leave having had a positive and memorable experience and develop a true passion for the game. Tarl and the coaches he uses believe in staying current with coaching and education methods, himself recently receiving the prestigious National Youth License, Tarl also has attained his USSF A License, NSCAA Premier Diploma and a UEFA B License. Tarl, an ODP coach is also on ENYYSA Instructional staff, delivering USSF Licenses to coaches all over NY State.
Wayne Fortino comes equipped with over 17 years coaching experience. Currently a New York State Olympic Development Program girl's head coach, Wayne has also been an Assistant head coach at St Johns University. He currently holds UEFA & NSCAA Licenses
Paul Cutter is a Physical Education teacher and serves as the head coach at Garden City High School. Paul was previously a full time coach and camp director for Noga Soccer, Rough Riders and LIJSL ODP Program. He currently holds UEFA & NSCAA Licenses
David Stapleton, a native of Scotland, brings over 15 years of coaching experience to the staff. David is currently the Assistant Men's coach of C.W. Post. He currently holds his NSCAA Premier, USSF 'B' & NSCAA National Goalkeeping Coaching licenses, and has coached at the High School, Club & ODP levels. Additionally, he is also a staff instructor for the LIJSL/NSCAA Coaching Academy, offering licenses to local soccer coaches
Dave O'Keeffe has been coaching for 10 years both here in the US and also in Ireland, and has directed camps throughout Long Island in previous summers. Dave is an active youth coach throughout the year working with teams competing in LIJSL & JSS leagues. He holds FAI, the NSCAA Advanced National and is pursuing his MA in Physical Education from Dowling College
Jonathon Watkin is a recent graduate and player from CW Post where he was awarded NSCAA All American 1st team and ECC Scholar Athlete awards. Jonathon is currently undergoing work placement as a Physical Education teacher and has already completed his NSCAA National Diploma in Soccer Coaching as he pursues further education in coaching.
Stuart Love has over 15 years of coaching experience and currently is the Head boys coach of Bayshore High School, Rough Riders U12 boys coach and a LIJSL Player Development Coach. Before that Stuart was Community Camp Director for Noga Soccer a position he held for 6 years. Stuart holds an NSCAA Premier Diploma
Lauren Bellone a current member of the LIU Post Womens Soccer Team where she also majors in Pre-med. Lauren is a bubbly character who really gets on well with the children she coaches and inspires them to play at their highest level. She has coached in various other towns and we are happy to have her as a oart of the Top Corner family. She is about to undertake her NSCAA National Diploma and aspires to be a college coach eventually.
Jasmine White all the way from Colorado, and is also a current member of the LIU Post Womens Soccer Team. Jasmine is majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Sports management. Jasmine also wishes to coach at college level once she is done playing and is keen to complete her coaching starting with her National Diploma when it becomes available.
